Just like any other situation you are trying to resolve, balancing your aura will have its 'To Do' list. Some of the things you can do will be so simple you won't believe it! Like smelling a flower! Others may be a little more difficult and require a more patience and commitment, such as an exercise program.
But first...Symptoms of Stress Overload
During your Aura Energy Self-Test, you may have started formulating some ideas about where you are at in relation to your needs, your activities, your environment and your health. You may be realizing you have not been spending enough time relaxing, pampering yourself or being with friends. Maybe you have been working extra long hours or feeling very scattered and unfocused. Perhaps you cannot remember the last time you prayed. Stress has a way of sneaking up on us.

A Word About Chakras
Chakras are energy centers in your body. The 7 primary centers (there are more) run from the top of your head, down your spine, to the bottom of your tailbone. See the picture above with the little lights in the center of the body? These are the chakras. Each Chakra is likened to a flower that opens and closes at its own particular rhythm. They are not all completely opened or all completely closed at any particular time, but rather, guided by their own agendas or energies. The problem lies in one or more becoming stuck, unable to function properly, which in turn affects all the others. This is called a 'blockage'. It creates emotional stress and dis-ease. This is where Aura Energy Balancing comes in!
If, after having taken The Aura Energy Self-Test and reading The Aura Color Personalities, you feel that some personal energy balancing is in order, it would benefit you to stimulate the areas of color that received lower scores in your Aura Energy Self-Test, or Kirlian photo. These represent the Chakras (energy centers of the body) whose energy levels are being blocked in some way. By engaging in therapies that specifically increase, or decrease, the energy of those areas of concern, you will increase your overall energy and balance!

How Do I Balance My Chakras
When I Don't Know Much About them?
Well, beginning is easy! Let's say, for example, that you are lacking in Red, which stands for life force, physicality and getting things done. You will need to find some way of getting yourself moving and doing again. You could go for a walk, even just a stroll, take the family to the beach or get that attic straightened, and that would immediately increase the energy and radiance of your aura (specifically your Root Chakra)!
So you see, don't worry! Worry will place an obstacle in your path every time and cast shadows on your soul. Have fun balancing your aura! This is what Aura Energy Balancing is all about!

If you received a high score in...
...any area that seems, to you, to be unbalanced, it may mean that you need to curb your emotions, thoughts or physical activities that relate to those colors, or Chakras.
For a more instant kind of Aura Energy Balancing, I have provided Color Therapy Boxes for you to use. Look at the following Color Wheel. Take notice of the color opposites. When you are High in an aura color, it may mean that you are also low in that color's opposite. I will show you what to do with low scores in the next section below.

For example, If you are a High Red, you might take a few moments, right now, while you are visiting The Captains Lady, to focus on your High Color's opposite on the colorwheel, which would be Green. Then, visit the Color Therapy Box for that color.
By visiting the Color Therapy Box that represents your Lowest Color(s), you will soak up some of the missing color into your Aura and therefore become instantly more balanced. How, you ask? Because color is absorbed through our eyes and our skin. Only stare at the opposite color for as long as you feel you need to. This could be a few seconds or a few minutes.
If you have meditational music on hand, I encourage the use of it while you are visiting the Color Therapy Boxes. I also suggest reading the 'missing' color before going to Color Box Therapy so that you will know what that color represents.

Usually, the colors that you need the most are colors that you are drawn to and are the ones you are happiest to see and spend time with. You will see what I mean when you open the Color Therapy Boxes (by clicking on the colors you wish to see). Some you'll want to close right away and others will have you taking a comforting breath and wanting to stay for awhile! It's sort of the same feeling you get when you eat something really great!
Although most report having a mix of high and low scores, it is not uncommon to have all high scores or all low scores. You will need to use your own judgment in deciding whether your scores feel balanced to you, or not. If you feel your scores are causing you problems of any kind, it may be necessary to tone down, or perk up, in all areas. That may mean a major aura tune up is in store. Don't worry! It's not as hard as you may think to rebalance your aura. And, don't forget online support is available if you have any questions!

Red - The Tailbone - 1st Chakra
Now would be a good time to kick that body into gear and turn your thoughts to actions! Receiving low scores in Red implies that your life energy, or force, is low. What is robbing you of your energy? Need some exercise?
You may benefit from a healthier choice in foods, taking a walk or going shopping. When is the last time you had a nice meal, paid attention to the family pet, or the kids? How about a day at the beach or tending flowers in the garden? Time to get back to living in the world for a bit. Time to stomp and dance!
If you find that you are consistantly low in Red, it is important that you reevaluate your relationships and environment, both at home and at work. There may be something, or someone, draining your life energy through some form of negativity.

Orange - The Lower Tummy - 1st Chakra
It may be a good time to do some organizing, planning and wrapping up loose ends. Are you isolating? When is the last time you got together with a friend to talk? Don't feel like talking? Often a low score in orange means problems having to do with sex or intimacy, sexual experiences or trauma (sex without love, rape, surgery, miscarriage, abortion, menpause, etc.). Get a check up, or counseling, if you need it. Write letters, even if you have no intention of sending them. It helps to get things off your chest. Try being more open and affectionate with those you do trust.
It may be a benefit to organize a sacred space, just for you, within your home, perhaps even clean up your home. Get back to self-expression through creativity. Accept hugs and love that others offer. Do something that gives you great pleasure or happiness. A passionate evening with your lover may be just what you need!

Yellow - The Higher Tummy - 3rd Chakra
There is just no getting around the fact that you are not having enough fun! What have you been sacrificing? Is there something that you love to do that you have been keeping on the back burner?
It would benefit you to get out and play, especially in the sun! Be around others who can appreciate your mental thought processes. Get back to what makes you happiest. Be around upbeat people. Don't know any? Join a group with similar interests as yourself. Maybe it is time to find a new hobby or study to stimulate your mind. Make sure that your mind and heart are on the same page. In other words, say what you mean and mean what you say. Think positive thoughts and let your actions follow your sentiments.

Green - The Heart - 4th Chakra
A low score in green often means that there is a lack of growth and a certain amount of stress in your life. There may be changes that you are resisting, or perhaps you are stagnating. Try being more selective of the people and situations you allow yourself to be a part of. Be around others whom you feel love you. You may need to go hunting for positive people. Be open to change. You can't do this if you are stressed.
Visit places where you can enjoy being the spectator, such as museums, operas, plays or a fair. Surround yourself with beautiful things. Buy some flowers! Spend some time in nature. The more natural the setting, the better. If there is a way to become more involved with humanitarianism, do so. Above all, seek like-minded people to be around!

Blue - The Throat - 5th Chakra
Blues are typically peace makers. Have you been in stingy mode? If you have a very low score in Blue, it may be time to think of others for a bit. Look around. See if there is anything you can actively do for your family or community. Who needs your help, love or your forgiveness, but is too afraid to ask? Are you in a situation where you feel are unable to love? Perhaps you need to create a new family of choice.
Where normally you would speak up, it may benefit you to bite your tongue (be more Blue) for the sake of peace. Sacrifice your perfectionism or pride for a change. It may be a good time to get together with family and friends, establish some new traditions. No? Well, spending some time singing, meditating with mantras or playing an instrument would be of benefit just as well!

Indigo - The Brow - 6th Chakra
A low score in Indigo may mean there is a need to stimulate the mind with new levels of learning and consciousness. Is there something you have always wanted to learn or know about? This would be a good time to research whatever subject fascinates you. Get involved in forces and organizations that make a positive difference in the world.
It may also mean that you have let go, or put aside your higher morals and values, your attachment to 'Spirit'. You may be delving too much into the mental world and ignoring the rest. You have some unique viewpoints about life and the world. Be more open to signs, faith and using your intuition. You may need to just get out of the house and completely away from your normal patterns, and self-distractions, for awhile!

Violet - Crown of the Head - 7th Chakra
A low score in Violet may indicate that you are out of touch with your dreams. Violets are the visionaries and the dreamers. Martin Luther King was a Violet personality. Not all of us aspire to become world leaders, but we can be leaders among our circle of family, friends and community as long as we stay connected to universal energy!
Is there something you have invented or would like to? Is there a positive message you would like to present somewhere? If there is something you feel you should be doing, do it. Having trouble with faith? Meditate on your goals. Get involved in those things that relate to your faith or philosophies in life (fellowships, church, organizations, etc.). Another thing. Violets are often afraid to show their feelings. Perhaps it is time to show others that you really do have a great sense of humor and that you can laugh at yourself. Try not to take others criticisms to heart. Use them instead to fuel your determination to succeed!

Note: Many people are a combination of two or more predominant colors. Therefore, it is completely normal to have more than one area to work on rebalancing.

Be as creative as you like. The more creative you are, the more balanced and energetic you'll become. Before long, you'll be positively radiant!
