There is something in your life you have been juggling. It may be as simple as balancing your checkbook or as difficult as trying to balance your home and family life. Are you having to come up with a plan to bring more money in? Are you living a double life, trying to balance relationships while keeping things separate? Dating more than one person? Financial difficulties seem to go along with this card. Someone may not have paid back a loan or perhaps it's a 'the check is in the mail' kind of situation. You may be trying to get a business or project off the ground with limited resources. It could be that you are going through a period where demands on your time, energy or money feel you pulled in conflicting directions. The boss wants you to stay at work late, but the spouse wants you to spend time on your marriage. Whatever it is, there are two options you are trying to choose from. So far, it has worked for you, but you must come up with a better plan, or make a decision, before stress affects you physically. It is already aggravating you a bit. In fact, the word 'cope' may no longer be in your vocabulary. You may be wishing you could remove yourself from this whole experience. If this is you, it is time to determine priorities. Good job! There is some area of study you have either learned or could become very good at. You may even be paid or searched out for your expertise. What started as only a hobby may now be looking more like a means to support yourself or at least your position. Whatever the situation, you are looking to hold onto something that you feel is rightfully yours and that you do not wish to live without. The 4 of Coins symbolizes someone who is normally quite capable in business and has the Midas touch in most endeavors. You can relax in knowing that, presently, your physical and financial foundations are solid and able to support you. You have all that you need and whatever is spent will be replaced. You should always find yourself in the position of having enough. It is up to you to determine enough entails. Are you basing your identity on your financial situation, material possessions or physical condition? Yes, security is important, but so is spirituality. Try to find a balance between the two. The 5 of Coins is a poor card indeed. You may be experiencing poverty, financial or business losses, material lack, physical illness or spiritual bankruptcy. Whatever the situation it is one of deprivation and desolation. There is suffering because some basic need is not being met in your life. Are you feeling poverty of the heart, feeling unloved or uncared about? It is possible that you have been rejected or shoved out into the cold. Did you not have receive some form of support that you had counted on? Are you abusing yourself in some way? Have you gambled away your money, health or possessions? Whatever the situation, it has become unbearable. You may feel you don't have the energy to move on, but this is what you need to do in order to find fulfillment and get what you truly want and need. You will need to rely on your faith to see yourself through this. What faith, you ask? Pray. Prayer will help. If you were raised to believe that you deserved only to scrape by in life, it is time to change your thinking. You don't have to settle for less. You don't have to be poor, ill, abused or unloved. You are a child of the most high King, a prince, a princess. While you are wrapping your mind around this, it may help to reach out to those even less fortunate than yourself, for it is giving that we receive, even if it is only a smile, a hug or a few kind words.

Finally! Things are looking up and you are able to pay some debts and share your time, energy and knowledge more generously with those you care about and still have plenty left over. Past financial issues and domestic money disputes have ended, or are ending. Investments are paying off and security is stable. You may now have success with artistic endeavors, business investments, and the ability to donate to charitable organizations. This is also a time of finding yourself in the position of being able to share more time and energy with others. You may be sharing your experiences or knowledge in order to benefit others as well. A significant other may be giving time and money to a new project of yours because they believe in you. There is a sense of gratitude and relief as you are lifted up out of your troubles. On the flip side, you may have bill collectors hounding your door, people trying to make attempts to make you responsible for their debt, and others trying to talk you into dubious money making schemes. There are those who say the 7 of Coins stands for failure, but I have never performed a reading where this was true. There may be concern of failure, only because this is a card that speaks of working hard, now, for rewards to be gained sometime in the unforeseeable future. You are, no doubt, anticipating the fruitfulness of your efforts. Most agree that this card refers to reaping the rewards of putting our time and energy into whatever we feel will make us successful. With that in mind, you may be starting a new way of eating, an exercise program, going back to school, changing careers or starting a family. Expect to feel really good about accomplishing the things you are striving for. Many areas of your life are improving. Part of your success is in careful planning. The rest is in patience and commitment to your goal(s). More work may be necessary, but you will get there. Sometimes this card represents couples trying to have children. This is a card of mastery over your God-given creativity. You have pooled all of your talents into a way of life that supports you and are able to put your whole heart into it. So completely, in fact, that what you are doing is less like work and more like meditation. You may have tried many things in the past and are finally narrowing it down to who you are, what's in your heart, and what works for you. This would be a good time to use the latest technology, to do some reading or take some classes in your area of interest. If you are starting over in some area, you will settle in quickly and find the experience rewarding. Hard work will eventually bring you physical, material or financial self-sufficiency so that you can expand even further. When this card is reversed, you may be worried about some aspect of employment, dreading the idea of going to work, or trapped in an unfulfilling situation unsure of what direction to go. Try not to be clever by cheating or taking short cuts in order to be where you want to be a little sooner. Don't waste precious time, energy and resources on unfulfilling projects or relationships. This causes sloppy workmanship and much dissatisfaction. Trying to master these insincerity is a terrible waste of energy. It is important to know what motivates you. The 9 of Coins represents independence, self-sufficiency, security in possessions and relationships. There is order and safety in your life and you have the wisdom needed to handle problems on your own. You are finally expressing your inner values by the way you have chosen to live. You have integrated your talents into a means of supporting yourself and are able to enjoy monetary and material well-being. Physically, you enjoy your own energy and company. And, although you may feel, from time to time, that something is missing, or that you would like to add something to your life, you are OK with aloneness and there is no pain in it. You may be deciding to go public with a new business venture or talent. There is the love of being outdoors with nature. If you receive an inheritance or legacy, it is because someone knows you deserve it. You may live a more secluded or eccentric lifestyle, but you are able to enjoy your environment, find contentment in quiet times and relax away from the world and the crowd. However, if this card is reversed, you may be dependent on someone, a spouse or family member, for your livelihood. This card is all about family tradition, lineage and thoughts about what you would like to leave behind, a legacy or a gift. It is a wonderful card for home and family life, both financially and traditionally. There may be associations with large corporations or government. Work and partnerships go well and are productive and successful. Investments are proving to be profitable. If you are thinking of getting married or starting a family, this card says yes. In fact, marriages may be prearranged, established as a matter of convenience or connected to family requirements in order to claim a trust or to inherit an estate. Along these same lines, inheritances and legacies may be bequeathed to future generations. This might be a good time to get your wills in order. Not because you'll need them any time soon. On the contrary, things are going very well for you, as you have much support. There may be gatherings of family members, reunions. Traditions are be handed down from generation to generation. Old folks are surrounded by family that will be supportive to them in their old age. When the 10 of Coins is reversed, family members may be arguing, pressuring, or threatening each other over traditions, such as getting married or choice in partners, or who deserves what.
