The Second Chakra - Swadhisthana
The 2nd chakra relates to intimate and/or sexual memories (including surgeries in this area), the sexual organs, lower intestines and bladder. It is associated with colors red-orange to orange-yellow and the carnelian, amber and orange calcite stones. Wear, or pocket, one these for extra support this week.
Meditation
Comfortably sit back in your chair and focus on the Orange Color Therapy Box. The second chakra represents that part of you which is is not shared with everyone. It holds your most intimate memories. Pleasure resides here, but so also may pain. If you have unresolved sexual issues, were molested or treated badly in a sexual manner, or have had any surgeries in this area of your body, a miscarriage or an abortion, these painful memories can reside here as well. Imagine the orange setting of the sun, passionate moments, real or imagined, with those who would support you. This chakra's element is Water. Imagine the feel of warm water cascading down over your head, body, stomach and legs, pooling around your knees, calves and feet. Wade into Orange and allow it to befriend you. Wade deeper into Orange, allowing it to swirl around you warmly and as high as your belly button. Let it caress your Sacral Chakra (your lower tummy and reproductive self). Feel the pleasure Orange offers. Know that you are whole and all will be well. Let the hurt go. Leave negative emotions concerning your femaleness (or maleness) here. Allow Orange to walk it away. When you are ready, step back onto shore and come back to the world.
