Old World Remedy Balm - 1 oz
Old World Remedy Balm helps to heal acne breakouts, pimples, boils, insect bites, and minor fungal infections and minor to moderate skin irritations. Works on mild to moderate arthritic pain in knuckles and calms diabetic nerve pain in feet.
When used at first sign of cold sores, genital herpes and shingles it can help to prevent blisters from forming and/or reduce breakout time by half while greatly reducing, if not all together eliminating, agonizing pain and itch.
Old World Remedy Balm softens to body temperature and glides on gently without pulling or damaging sensitive skin further.
Healing takes place rather rapidly as it goes to work to support your body's immune system and restore health and wellness to your skin.
The scent is favorable (it disappears quickly) and it does not stain clothing.
Old World Remedy Balm contains 14 pure essential oils of Cinnamon Leaf, Cinnamon Bark, Clove, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Rosemary, Oregano, Tea Tree, Winter Savory, Lavender, Frankincense, Myrrh, Ravensara, and Sweet Orange) in a base of Virgin Olive oil, Jojoba oil, Avocado oil, Coconut oil, Vitamin E and Beeswax for powerful and unique healing properties. Sweet Orange essential oil is also added for it's ability to relieve melancholy and depression and to provide an emotional lift.
DO NOT use Old World Remedy Balm on children under 2 years old.
ALWAYS perform a patch test, by placing the balm or diluted oil on a small patch of skin (dime size) the inside of the arm and inch or so below the elbow. On children ages 2-12, perform this patch test on the top of their foot. Cover this spot with a band aid or a sock. Check it every so often over the next few hours for redness, itching, hives or any other sign of irritation.
NEVER place Old World Remedy Balm too close to the eyes, nose or mouth, never swallow, and never place in ears or in any other bodily orifice.
TO APPLY, use a fresh Q-Tip each time you dip into the balm to avoid contamination. You can use your fingers to remove the balm from the tip and apply the balm to your skin, but don't stick your fingers or a Q-Tip that has been touched by fingers (or been used to apply the balm directly to the skin) back into the container. Apply a thin, protective 'pea size' (or less) coat once every 3-4 hours during the day as necessary.
DO NOT use water to remove Old World Remedy Balm from your skin. Water will only make it spread. Use Olive oil or another base oil (butter, lard, mineral oil, etc.) to remove it, preferably a natural oil without fragrance added.
IMPORTANT: Essential oils, when applied topically can cause a phototoxic reaction. Meaning, if you apply them to your skin and then go out into the sunlight you may burn more easily. This applies to anything made with essential oils, whether homemade or over-the-counter, such as face creams, massage oils, body lotions, lip balms, etc.
As Old World Remedy Balm is in a base of solid oils, it can melt in higher degree temperatures. Keep this in mind when it comes to pockets, purses and cars. As the temperature cools, however, it will become solid again.
