The Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus chakras (the first three chakras) are all automatic centers, meaning that they are open in everyone. The remaining chakras are opened in varying degrees according to the individual. The Crown, Brow, Throat, and Heart chakras (the top four chakras) help to adjust the physical body’s brain and the body’s electromagnetic meridian system. Some suggest that you try to open these chakras as far as possible. However, to do so intentionally may leave one too open to spiritual energies, both good and bad, and to feeling overwhelmed by outside influences. To focus on becoming a better person spiritually, mentally and physically may open the chakra energy centers in a more natural and rhythmic way, through meditation, massage, diet, exercise, intimacy, and nearly anything else that is considered therapeutic. Two methods of chakra color meditation are offered for each of the 7 major chakras and their associated colors. The first is a visualization exercise provided for you and the other is to, simply, gaze upon the Color Therapy Gazing Box of your choice to absorb the color you are in need of most. The lower scores from your Aura Energy Self-Test results reveal which of your chakras are in need of balancing and energizing, but don’t fret about knowing which color to choose to meditate on. You will automatically be drawn to it. And, there’s no time limit on gazing. Gaze as long as you like. Perhaps you could combine both meditations and focus on the visualization exercise while gazing at the corresponding color. When you get restless, tired, or bored gazing at a color, stop. Choose another color if you like from the bottom of this page or come back another time.
Blue Guided Meditation
Blue Throat Chakra Color Meditation
The Throat Chakra works with the Sacral Chakra and is concerned with expression. Our communication patterns are found here. It is located just below your skull at the base of your neck and is often the area for tension headaches that are caused from not being able to express your feelings. Our voice is related to the throat chakra and is very powerful. You may recognize someone only from the sound of their voice. It carries signals that a look cannot. This chakra's element is Spirit (Akasha). It is the first chakra that is not associated with a physical element. It is associated with vibrations. We each have a certain rhythm, which is affected by other rhythms, which in turn, affects how well we communicate with others and ourselves. Sometimes the rhythms of life are too fast, and agitating, and at other times too slow and stagnating. It is important to find our rhythm. If we lose it, we are aggravated. When visualizing the Throat chakra, notice how opened or closed it is. What is it trying to telling you?
Comfortably sit back in your chair.
Think peaceful thoughts. Picture being able to communicate your thoughts and feelings to others and to yourself. Just for this moment, find your rhythm. Then, imagine you are the very best of swimmers as you dive into clear blue water. You're a Mermaid. Breathe Blue into your gills. Allow it to swirl around your Throat Chakra in a flurry of blue bubbles that softly erase your apprehensions, fears and the inability to get your meaning across. Hear the rhythms of the water as you swim. Are there others there with you? Are there Mermaids, dolphins or whales? Communicate with them. Listen to what they have to say during this moment of Blue rhythm. Blue is peaceful and restoring. Tell Blue what you really think and feel. It can handle it.
When you are ready, come back to the world and know you have the right communicate your thoughts in a positive way and be heard.
