One out of every 4-5 people are highly sensitive and one out of every 5-6 people have contracted some form of herpes, whether they know it or not. So, chances are, there going to be Highly Sensitive People living with herpes. which is a dis-ease that brings agony and humiliation to everyone it touches.
Hello. I'm Mari (pronounced Ma-REE'). I've been living with herpes for nearly 40 years now, so I know how you feel. I'm going to assume you are here today to learn more about how to personally put herpes in remission.
Let me just say, when you heard your doctor utter the words, "...no cure." it probably scared you beyond imagination. You were probably horrified and sad. If you’re a woman, makeup may have run down your face through your tears. And, looking back, maybe you were so angry you’re surprised your own jaw clenching tension didn't snap your teeth right in half. If male, perhaps you also cried, but later when no one could see you or maybe you put your fist through a wall.
No matter what your gender is you probably felt ashamed and confused. You probably didn't know which way to run for advice. After all, it wasn't like you could talk to just anyone about it.
Deep down maybe you were (or still are) terrified you would die an early death or, at the very least, never be able to love again or be loved again, emotionally or physically. Maybe even now you are afraid you are going to have to live the rest of your life alone suffering in silence with no one to hold you in your best and worst moments. It doesn’t have to be this way. You can put your Herpes Simplex Virus in remission, naturally and get your health and your life back. You can.
Others may offer you prescriptions and potions to cure Cold Sores, Genital Herpes and Shingles. They may tell you to eat right and to manage stress, which is certainly good advice. These things are important. They may even offer you some nutritional suggestions or meditations to reduce stress, but they rarely tell you why these things are so important. I do.
You may be thinking the answer is obvious, that by taking care of yourself you'll have less chance of breakouts, but when it comes to putting herpes in remission it isn't just about taking care of yourself, because you can eat a completely balanced diet, use all-natural remedies, exercise, sleep better, take the best supplements, reduce stress and STILL continue to have recurring herpes breakouts. Then what's the answer? It's simpler than you think!
While there are triggers, which can cause herpes to surface (get my free handout below) there is one thing that most people touting cures don’t come right out and tell you about, which is the number one reason for herpes breakouts, as well as more frequent or more severe breakouts, and the ones that do tell you often mention it only in passing when it should be the major focus. In fact, it should be shouted from the roof tops. Your doctor should burst through the door screaming it. And, personally, I don't feel you should have to pay for this knowledge, so I'm going to tell you what it is, because until you understand this piece of the puzzle you’ll continue to struggle with breakouts.
The number one reason for recurrent HSV breakouts is pH imbalance. Folks talk about herpes triggers a lot, because herpes triggers are what cause poor pH in the first place. Balance your pH and you’ll put herpes in remission. It’s as simple as that.
When your blood is too acidic you will suffer more frequent breakouts. When it is more alkaline herpes stays in remission. Therefore, maintaining your pH is a priority for putting herpes virus in remission. So, why don't others mention pH as a main priority for herpes remission? I can only imagine the answer to this question is, either, they haven't yet made the connection themselves or they don't want you to know so you will continue to buy their herpes 'cures'. See pH Balance, but don't leave this page just yet.
While, I am sorry to say, there is no cure for herpes there are plenty of people who will try to convince you otherwise while selling you expensive programs, books and remedy products that contain enough doses to ‘cure’ your next 50 breakouts. I'm sorry. don’t call that a cure. I call it a rip off. Now, I am not implying there aren’t remedy products that can help with symptoms. There are. In fact, my Old World Remedy Oil and Old World Remedy Balm recipes can help to eliminate agonizing pain and itch and cut breakout time by half, but they are not cures.
Balancing your pH it is the one thing that does put herpes in remission. However, your medical doctor will probably never tell you about pH as a potential remedy for putting herpes in remission. Why not? Because, a number one cause of pH imbalance is drugs, both, prescription or over-the-counter and no money can be made peddling natural remedies.
It might interest you to know pH balance was once the method of determining the health of immigrants wishing to cross on to American soil. Those with poor pH balance were turned away because it meant they were at risk for disease. The medical system, basically, did away with this type of popular testing when they determined pushing drugs for financial gain was more important than informing individuals of how to heal themselves naturally.
If you want to put herpes in remission (and I know you do) you’ll have to boost your immune system, which means eliminating or greatly reducing items from your diet that cause acidosis and inflammation or trigger breakouts. There is a margin of balance where herpes becomes inactive and stays that way. You're welcome to run with this information and do all the research yourself, but I've already done it for you in my e-book, The Old World Diet & Natural Remedies for Putting Herpes in Remission, below.
But, first, what does it mean to put herpes in remission? There is no magic pill to cure herpes. If there were, people who offer to cure you with expensive products wouldn't be selling you enough magic pills to get you through your next 50 breakouts. But, you can put it in remission and, unless you have a life-threatening emergency, such as encephalitis, or disseminated herpes where antiviral medications are necessary, you can put in in remission naturally.
According to the Miriam-Webster dictionary, remission is "a period of time during a serious illness when the patient's health improves". And, according to Wikipedia, "Remission is the state of absence of disease activity in patients with a chronic illness, with the possibility of return of disease activity." and recovery is a restoration of health or functioning. A person who has been cured may not be fully recovered, and a person who has recovered may not be cured, as in the case of a person in a temporary remission or who is an asymptomatic carrier for an infectious disease."
Meaning, you can improve your health, restore healthy functioning, keeping in mind that you are not fully cured, but you have an absence of herpes. I don't know about you, but just thinking about the absence of any dis-ease makes me smile.

The Old World Diet & Natural Remedies for Putting Herpes in Remission
Discover the 'Why?' behind putting herpes in remission. The 'Why?' is obvious. You want to be free of herpes, but that's not the 'Why? I'm referring to.
Others may tell you not to eat certain foods or not to eat certain foods or to take certain supplements. They may also tell you to relax, unwind and use stress reduction techniques. Most are fine suggestions (well, most), but they rarely tell you why and until you understand the 'Why?' you'll never be able to put your herpes in remission. And, once you understand the 'Why?' you may get angry over having already spent money on information and products that didn't aid the 'Why?'
My e-book answers the 'Why?'. You'll also find answers to 'What?' I won't promise you will find a cure because there isn't one, but you CAN put herpes in remission or, at the very least, deal with it much less often. Less is good. Remission is even better. You'll see.
