The Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus chakras (the first three chakras) are all automatic centers, meaning that they are open in everyone. The remaining chakras are opened in varying degrees according to the individual. The Crown, Brow, Throat, and Heart chakras (the top four chakras) help to adjust the physical body’s brain and the body’s electromagnetic meridian system. Some suggest that you try to open these chakras as far as possible. However, to do so intentionally may leave one too open to spiritual energies, both good and bad, and to feeling overwhelmed by outside influences. To focus on becoming a better person spiritually, mentally and physically may open the chakra energy centers in a more natural and rhythmic way, through meditation, massage, diet, exercise, intimacy, and nearly anything else that is considered therapeutic. Two methods of chakra color meditation are offered for each of the 7 major chakras and their associated colors. The first is a visualization exercise provided for you and the other is to, simply, gaze upon the Color Therapy Gazing Box of your choice to absorb the color you are in need of most. The lower scores from your Aura Energy Self-Test results reveal which of your chakras are in need of balancing and energizing, but don’t fret about knowing which color to choose to meditate on. You will automatically be drawn to it. And, there’s no time limit on gazing. Gaze as long as you like. Perhaps you could combine both meditations and focus on the visualization exercise while gazing at the corresponding color. When you get restless, tired, or bored gazing at a color, stop. Choose another color if you like or come back another time.
Indigo Guided Meditation
The Brow Chakra reflects our current state of spiritual life. It works in unison with the Heart Chakra. In order for this chakra to work we need to have love available to us in order to meditate and build positive thoughts. True clairvoyance is found through this chakra even though channeling comes from the Solar Plexus chakra where all of our feelings are processed and interpreted. This is the entry point for the golden light of the universe to enter our beings. When visualizing this golden light of love, we first see it entering through our third eye. The light of love then flows and passes through each chakra and then out of our bodies through our fingers and toes. While the light is with us, during meditation, we can be cleansed and healed of our physical, mental and spiritual sufferings. We can also give thanks for all the spirit has given us and we can become relaxed and grounded once more.
Comfortably sit back in your chair. Indigo represents independence, selectiveness, akashic memory and down time.
As you sit in the shadows of Indigo, imagine a world of higher morals, where there is no prejudice and no need for rules, let your defenses down. With your Third Eye (the space between your eye brows), consider the universe with all of its wisdoms and webs. Indigo is often the voice of intuition, which helps one see the light. In fact, just like the Throat Chakra, Indigo has no element. It is a chakra of higher consciousness and is connected to the chakra above it and below it. Is there something that has you puzzled? What does your sixth sense tell you as you stare into the deep space of Indigo? Here, we do not see with the eyes. We see with the soul. What do you see, not with your eyes, but with understanding? There is a larger picture here. What is life trying to make you see?
When you are ready, come back to the world, bringing your insights with you.
