The kitchen is a great place to use some of those all natural objects from nature. Flowers go well here. So do items made out of natural ingredients, such as baskets. Keep your kitchen clean. It is, in many ways, the heart of your home. Keeping your kitchen and pantry safe should be high on your list of household priorities.
Kitchens should have good lighting. There is nothing wrong with placing lamps in your kitchen, as long as the cords are not showing or placed where they can be tripped over.
Unplug all small appliances when not in use. Even when they are off they are conducting electricity. Meaning, you'll still be affected by EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies) even when they are turned off.
Find a storage place for those kitchen items you rarely use.
Purchase a water filter for your kitchen sink or purchase pure water by the gallon.
Leave bowls of healthy snacks (fruit, trail mix, nuts, etc.) in your kitchen and dining room.
Avoid purchasing tables or center islands with sharp corners and place bar stools under counters when not in use.
Keep stoppers in the sink drains and remove water vessels from the stove when not in use are both Feng Shui tips.
Place soft lights in your china cabinet. A string of Christmas lights will do. The charm is very relaxing, especially when used as a night light.
The pantry should be well organized with heaviest items on the floor or bottom shelves and lighter weighing objects on higher shelves.
Storing items like potatoes are better stored in wooden or straw baskets for better ventilation.
Store foods and cleaning products away from each other.
