Over-exertion. Pride getting in the way of treatment.
Letter VIII. ~ (The Lesson or Message in the Form of a Letter)
I now understand what you were implying when you stated I was far too forceful. My own insecurities and fears, stemming from self-doubt, lead me to act in ways which were, indeed, contrary to any true form courageousness.
I see now how my bullish actions caused me to appear weak and unable. True strength lies in solving one’s issues with patience and compassion. It also takes to ability to face one’s darkest self with acceptance. In the past I acted cowardly taking the easy way out by imbibing in drink, women, and brawling. It made me ill in the end. Taking your advice to heart, to take care of my health, I am no longer that man. I have, indeed, found honorable character within myself once again.
I hope you accept my sincere offer of reconciliation.
